We will offer a window into both the major weather processes and how we educate students in the United States (both undergraduate and graduate). In an interactive portion, we will go through real-time charts and do ingredient-based forecasting for severe weather in the U.S., since this is peak convective weather season "back home". We hope to check in live with our other May program, the Convective Storms Field Studies, which will be actively storm chasing during this timeframe! We'll compare the workshop forecast to theirs! There should be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
